Gutted. Absolutely fucking gutted. That's the only way I can describe how I feel a day after losing the Canada Cup on our grounds to Montreal. I'll avoid discussing the players effort (or lack of in Cunningham's case), coaching issues, or our obvious lack of finishing, rather this is about how we as supporters need to move forward.
There has been a lot of discussion about protesting the team, you have every right to feel that way after last night's display. I would like to remind the people who feel that way is that there is still hope in making the playoffs. Let's not give the players an more excuses than they have already made, we need to support them through thick and thin. Our policy from now on is this, we've put several large displays planned on hold, instead we'll be voicing our displeasure in the stands through tifo. We have one planned targetting the players for the game against FC Dallas. If changes don't happen after that, we will target management and the coaching staff.
Something needs to be done, and we'll let them know that, but we won't stop singing for 90 minutes so long as there is a chance we'll make the playoffs, no matter how slim.
